  1. The competition will open in the morning. Exact timings will be published closer to the day of the event.
  2. The participation will be timed.
  3. Participants will be given a sheet of paper.
  4. Participants must bring their own medium (pencils, pens)
  5. No references are allowed inside the hall.

      3. Spelling, capitalization, punctuation and grammar will be taken into consideration for judging. 
      4. Handwriting must be clear enough to read.
      5. Judging will be based on all rules mentioned above, along with coherency and the style of presentation.

Imagine if King Bharatha were to write a journal, what would his entry be on the day he returns to Ayodhya from his Uncle Kaikeya’s home and learns about the turn of events in Ayodhya.

(Imagine you have been transported back in time when Lord  Krishna was sporting in Vrindavan and you were lucky to spend a day with Him and His friends.Describe your day.)

  1. Content should be a minimum of two sides (letter size) or 400 words.
  2. The write-up should maintain the following :
      1. The factual part of the story.
      2. The traits and qualities of the characters in the story as mentioned in the original scripture. 
      3. Participants can creatively describe the feelings, expressions of the characters without compromising facts.
  3. Spelling, punctuation, capitalization and grammar will be taken into consideration for judging. 
  4. Handwriting must be clear enough to read.
  5. Judging will be based on all rules mentioned above along with coherency, the style of presentation and creativity of the content.

Write a script for play by choosing any one of the following topics:

First Topic

  1. Explore the lives of the four Shaivite saints - Appar, Sundarar, Thirugnyana sambandhar and Mannikkavachakar. Write a play on the incidents that happened in the life of these great saints.

Second Topic 

  • Explore the lives of the four disciples of Sri Vallabhacharya - Surdas, Krishnadas, Kumbhandas and Paramanandadas. Write a play on the incidents that happened in the life of these great disciples.

Third Topic

  • Explore the lives of the four dasas of Karnataka- Purandaradasa, Kanakadasa, Vijayadasa and Jagannathadasa. Write a play on the incidents that happened in the life of these great dasas.
  1. Content should be a minimum of two sides (letter size) or 400 words and include a minimum of 4 scenes.
  2. The skit should carry the following:
    1. Title of the play.
    2. Narration in between the scenes.
    3. Setting and props involved.
    4. Authentic content and main essence/message of the stories and characters.
    5. A complete end to end script ready to be performed as a play.
  3. Handwriting must be clear enough to read.
  4. Judging will be based on all aspects mentioned above, along with creativity  and overall presentation.
