    Kids in this category will not be judged. Participation only. All will receive participation certificates

  • Topic: Animals from Indian scriptures

    Animals/Birds that serve as a “vaahana” or vehicle to Gods. Or Gods who may have taken the form of an animal

  • Topic: Festival of Lights - Diwali

    Anything and everything related to this festival of lights - how it is celebrated, why it is celebrated, etc

  • Topic: “Parampara” - Indian Traditions

    There are many interesting traditions in various regions of India. For example, lighting lamps, drawing rangoli/kolams at homes, etc. Depict any of those traditions that you have seen at home or when you made your trip back home!

Competition Guidelines

Art Media

  1. 9”x12” poster (Mixed Media poster will be provided). 

  2. For PreK-KG, a picture for coloring will be provided.

  3. Participants must bring their own medium (pencils, crayons, pastels, color pencils or markers only. Water-color pencils are okay. No paints allowed.)

Guidelines

  1. Art Hall will be open in the morning. Check-in will begin at 9.30 am.

  2. Each participant can sign in during this time and will have no more than 1 hr to complete their art work. The participation will be timed.

  3. Participants will be given a sheet of “art” paper.

  4. Participants must bring their own medium (pencils, crayons, color pencils or markers)

  5. No references are allowed inside the hall.
