  • Coloring

    Kids in this category will not be judged. Participation only. All will receive participation certificates

  • Topic: Traditions (Articles of worship)

    Kids can draw articles of worship that they have seen in their own puja room or in the temple as well as any items related to worship. (For example, Tulsi Mandan, rangoli, neivedhyam, arati plate, garlands, etc)

  • Topic: Deities in Holy Kshethras

    Depict a deity in any of the holy kshethra (Like Lord Jagannath in Puri, Guruvayoorappa, Udipi Krishna, Lord Panduranga in Pandharpur, etc)

  • Topic: Temples in India

    Indian temples are not just spiritual storehouse, they are an archeological wonder as well. Choose a temple in India that inspires you and bring out the beauty of that temple on paper. Example: Puri Jagannath temple, Konark temple, Thanjavur Big temple, etc

Competition Guidelines

Art Media

  1. 9”x12” poster (Mixed Media poster will be provided). 

  2. For PreK-KG, a picture for coloring will be provided.

  3. Participants must bring their own medium (pencils, crayons, pastels, color pencils or markers only. Water-color pencils are okay. No paints allowed.)

Guidelines

  1. Art Hall will be open in the morning. Check-in will begin at 10 am.

  2. Each participant can sign in during this time and will have no more than 1 hr to complete their art work. The participation will be timed.

  3. Participants will be given a sheet of “art” paper.

  4. Participants must bring their own medium (pencils, crayons, color pencils or markers)

  5. No references are allowed inside the hall.
